The Jigster
Maureen from October2010 board posted this and I loved the idea but they want $70 for it! I refuse to pay that much for a piece of plastic and decided to figure out how to make my own. Here is the Youtube video on the actual product and below are the instructions on how I made my version. This is going to make assembling my invites a lot easier.
How to make my version of the Jigster
Supplies that you will need to make this:
A Ruler
3 pieces of foam- I bought these in a 40 ct pack at the Dollar Tree but you can make it with wood that you get in the craft stores also.

xacto knife

Step 1
Once you decide how big you want the border to be, measure with your ruler and cut along the ruler with the xacto knife Make sure not to cut end to end. I decided to make my border 1/2 inch here. With the ruler I used I could measure where to stop cutting. Then rotate the foam and measure and cut along that end also. This will be the top layer.
Step 2
For the second layer I doubled the measurement. Repeat step 1 here but measure 1inch.
Step 3
This is what you should have after you are done cutting out the 2 layers. Take the orange layer (the 1inch layer) and put glue on it. Then place it on the last piece of uncut foam. I used a ruler to make it flush with each other.
Step 4
Repeat step 3 with the 1/2 inch layer.
Step 5
I take my ruler and make sure everything measures right. Make sure to check it before the glue dries.
How to use
To use take the paper you want on top on the green foam. I put double stick tape on that layer. I remove the back of the tape and lay the next paper (green) on the orange layer (as shown below). I lightly pressed on the green paper to make sure it sticks. Here is what it looks like on the other side.
